Pulmonary tuberculosis (pulmonary TB) is a type of infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. A male patient aged 40 years, came to hospital with complaints shortness breath, severe breath for 1 week before coming hospital, had history having WSD installed, on palpation left vocal fremitus was stronger than right, percussion found be dim in basal area. lung, hyperresonance medial-apex area pulmo dextra and sonor sinistra, decreased vesicular auscultation right chest X-ray pleural effusion. The treated air surge therapy. After surgery evaluated 4 days repeated follow-up patients where results examination did not find recurrent effusions.
